We offer group classes, private lessons, and two to three week board and train options along with multiple upgrades after your dog has completed their basic training. With our board and train program you drop off your dog and pick up a well trained and well mannered pup. Private lessons provide one-on-one training designed to meet your dog’s personality, training aptitude, and your family’s goals. In each private lesson at our facility, one of our trainers will teach you how to train your dog for obedience commands and how to handle unwanted behaviors.
For private lessons to be successful, you and your dog will be required to practice at home between lessons. A commitment of a minimum of two to three twenty minute “homework sessions” per day is necessary for this type of training approach to be effective. In some situations, our trainers may suggest that you partake in additional home practice sessions.
Private lessons work best for owners that have the necessary time and patience to work closely with their dogs. Private lessons are also ideal for dogs whose personality types work better when they remain in their home environment versus a residency training program.
This on-leash training program is designed to establish dog/owner communication and give you on-leash control.
During this program your dog will stay in residence at BNB Ranch for ten full training days. Our staff of trainers will teach your dog the following on-leash commands: Heel with Automatic Sit, Sit and Down at your side, Sit and Down in motion, Sit and Down from the front, Stay, Come and Place. Your dog will be taught to respond to both verbal commands and hand signals.
During your four private follow-up lessons at BNB Ranch, you will be taught proper leash handling techniques and correct use of each command. Your follow up lessons will emphasize creating diversity in your dog’s commands, working around distractions, and advice on handling unwanted behaviors. Your first lesson will take place the day that you pick up your dog. The additional three private lessons must be completed within 90 days after the final date of the residency training.
Upon completion of this program your dog is eligible to attend our FREE group class the second Saturday of each month (weather permitting). This provides a safe environment to practice what you have learned with other owners that have received the same training. The final 10 minutes of the class is an off-leash group play.
This program is suitable for dogs that are well adjusted and socialized and are not showing signs of excessive anxiety/fear or aggression/reactivity towards people or other dogs.
This off-leash training program is designed to establish dog/owner communication and give you off-leash control.
During this program your dog will stay in residence at BNB Ranch for fifteen full training days. Our staff of trainers will teach your dog the following off-leash commands: Heel with Automatic Sit, Sit and Down at your side, Sit and Down in motion, Sit and Down from the front, Stay, Come and Place. Your dog will be taught to respond to both verbal commands and hand signals indoors and outdoors. The price does not include to cost of a remote collar.

In order for this training program to be successful, it is imperative for owners to work at home to change patterns and behaviors as instructed by our trainers. Dog owners will receive instruction and counseling on how their behavior influences the behavior of their dog. Your willingness to incorporate behavior modification and obedience commands into everyday life is crucial for success.
This on leash program is designed to establish effective dog/owner communication before beginning behavior modification. Upon completion of this program your dog will be able to walk on a leash, sit, and lay down patiently at your side. During this program your dog will stay in residence at BNB Ranch for twenty full training days. During this time our staff of trainers will teach your dog the following on leash commands: Heel with Automatic Sit, Sit and Down at your side, Sit and Down in motion, Sit and Down from the front, Stay, and Come. Your dog will be taught to respond to both verbal commands and hand signals. Your dog will also participate in behavior modification, socialization therapy and confidence building.
During your six private follow up lessons at BNB Ranch, you will be taught proper leash handling techniques and correct use of each command. Your follow up lessons will include instruction at BNB Ranch’s indoor and outdoor training areas. During these lessons there will be an emphasis on diversifying your dog’s commands, working around distractions, and handling unwanted behaviors. You and your dog will also receive behavior modification, socialization therapy and/or confidence building assistance.
Upon completion of this program your dog is eligible to attend our FREE group class the second Saturday of each month (weather permitting). This provides a safe environment to practice what you have learned with other owners that have received the same training. The group size is limited to ensure maximum interaction with the trainers to troubleshoot any issues that come up.
You and your dog may qualify for this UPGRADE upon successful completion of the 10-4 On Leash Training Program. This on-leash training program includes introduction and instruction on the proper application of the remote training collar. This on leash program is also designed to establish dog/owner communication and give you on-leash control. The price of the remote collar is included in the price of the program.
During this program your dog will stay in residence at BNB for five full training days. Our staff of trainers will teach your dog the following on-leash commands: Heel with Automatic Sit, Sit and Down at your side, Sit and Down in motion, Sit and Down from the front, Stay, Come and Place. Your dog will be taught to respond to both verbal commands and hand signals.
During your two private follow-up lessons at BNB Ranch, you will be taught proper usage of the remote training collar and correct use of each command. You will be given insight into particular behavior patterns and problems. Your first lesson will take place the day that you pick up your dog. The additional private follow up lesson must be completed within 30 days after the final date of the residency training.
You and your dog may qualify for this UPGRADE upon successful completion of the 10-4 On Leash Training Program. You and your dog must receive approval from one of our staff trainers in order to enroll in this upgrade. During this program our staff of trainers will train your dog to reliably respond to you off-leash indoors and outdoors in confined and open areas. The price of a remote collar is NOT included in this upgrade.
Your dog will stay in residence at BNB Ranch for ten full training days and will be taught to perform the following commands off-leash: Heel with Automatic Sit, Sit and Down at your side, Sit and Down in motion, Sit and Down from the front, Stay, Come, and Place. Your dog will be able to respond to commands verbally and with hand signals. A training tab, long line, and mat for the off-leash place mat commands are included.
This program includes a series of four private follow up lessons at BNB Ranch following the last day of residency. It is through these lessons you will progress towards off-leash control. Your follow-up lessons will include instruction at BNB Ranch’s indoor and outdoor training areas. Owners will be taught verbal skill training, proper use of command and receive instruction on handling your dog off-leash in real world situations. In your follow-up lessons you and your dog will participate in exercises that have a heavy emphasis on diversifying command around distractions and in different environments.
This on-leash training program is based upon what you want and need beyond our basic obedience commands. We will tailor the program to teach your dog any additional skills or tricks that you may require such as Take It, Cover, Brace, or other commands that you would need in your daily life. The length of the program depends on the number of commands that you would need. Your dog must have completed our 10-4 basic obedience course before enrolling in this program since these are advanced skills that require a solid basic obedience foundation.
Our trainers will evaluate your dog to ensure your dog can complete the advanced skills requested. Enrollment in the special skills course is dependent upon approval from your trainer.
5-2 Special Skills ($800): Your dog will be taught one special skill while they stay in residence at BNB for five full training days. You will be taught the correct use of the command and how the dog should perform at your two private follow-up lessons.
10-4 Special Skills ($1600): Your dog will be taught up to three special skills while they stay in residence at BNB for ten full training days. You will be taught the correct use of the commands and how the dog should perform at your four private follow-up lessons.
We do not certify dogs as Service Dogs, we only provide advanced skills training. Your dog will receive a complimentary bath at the completion of the residence stay. Baths include shampoo, nail trimming, ear cleaning, and brushing/combing.
A $200 deposit is due upon booking and the balance is due at your go home lesson. The deposit will be forfeit if a cancellation request is received less than 14 days prior to the beginning of training. We accept the following forms of payment: check, cash, Visa, MasterCard, AMEX, and Discover. You will need to bring enough food for the entire time your dog is scheduled for training. Your dog must be in good health and you must provide current vaccination records from a licensed veterinarian. This four week class is held in public settings to help your dog learn to be polite in public. The first three weeks are spent working on the 10 skills required to pass the test that is held on the final week. If you dog passes the test, they can be registered through the American Kennel Club as a Canine Good Citizen. Your dog does need to already have a solid basic obedience foundation to be able to participate. Lila Teunissen is a Certified Professional Trainer (CPT) and graduate from the National K9 Learning center and can help improve your communication with your pup. She has completed Michael Ellis’s Principals of Dog Training 1 and attends continuing education classes and conferences every year. She competes her dogs in American Kennel Club Obedience and Rally competitions. With her years of experience, she will help develop a program to help you achieve your training goals whether they are better behavior, walking nice on a leash, or behavior modification issues.
